The Shandong Acrobatic Troupe left Beijing on March 8, 2007 for The Bahamas, where they have an engagement for three performances. This is the third time that an acrobatic team from China has visited The Bahamas; but it is a first for the Shandong Troupe which consists of 19 performers and four officials. Bahamian audiences have always been thrilled by Chinese acrobatic performers and this time a real treat is in store as the Shandong Troupe is said to be the best in China and have performed to large audiences in many countries.
The Bahamas Head of Mission in China, Mr. Philip Miller, met with the group to bid them farewellprior to their departure and to wish them a successful tour in The Bahamas.
